This workshop is a basic introduction
to Logo Design. We look at the very basic elements of design, including
composition, interaction between elements, mark making, and the
process used to come up with a logo that is “you” and
which is representational of your business. We will also answer
the questions: “Can I do it all myself? How can I cut costs?
Do I need to hire a professional designer? If so, what do they charge?
VISUAL
DESIGN OF PROMOTIONAL MATERIALS
This will be a hands-on, experiential,
fun, and interactive workshop. We look only at the visual elements
and basics of graphic design for visual appeal of your promotional
materials: business cards, brochures, stationary, rack cards, mail
out post cards, artist event cards, posters, flyers, newspaper and
magazine advertisements and packaging design.
